Painting in the Style of Van Gogh
Free masterclass with the animators of the film “Loving Vincent”

At the Widemann House in Pruszcz Gdański, we held a free workshop for local residents, where we shared the experience we gained while working on the world’s  creation the first feature-length animated film painted with oil — “Loving Vincent”, dedicated to the life and mysterious death of Vincent van Gogh.

Together with more than twenty participants, we explored the secrets of Van Gogh’s painting techniques, learned about his life, the film production process, and the specifics of working with oil paints. During the three-hour session, participants created their own “Starry Night,” inspired by Van Gogh’s iconic artwork, and tried working with water-mixable oil paints by RENESANS.
