“One Day” — solo exhibition born from a moment, 2024
How much does one day mean?
This question became the starting point for our new exhibition “One Day / Jeden dzień”, which we opened with Tetiana on June 14 at Jackiewicz Gallery in Gdańsk (Mariacka Street 50/52). Each day we live through countless events, yet we rarely stop to consider how a single day can shift our perspective, open new doors, or even change the course of our lives. In this exhibition, we chose to devote exactly one day to each artwork. One day — one story, one state, one visual form. We worked with various materials: acrylic on canvas, algraphy, ink, and graphic techniques on paper. Each piece was an attempt to capture a moment, give it shape and color, to pause time — if only within the space of a page or a canvas. It became both a creative challenge and a meditative practice — to be fully present in the moment, immerse ourselves completely, and emerge with a finished work. This exhibition is our invitation to reflect:
Do we truly live each day? Do we let it speak to us? Can we recognize the one day that becomes unforgettable?
We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us at the opening and to those who continue to experience the exhibition — each day, in their own way, personally and sincerely.
